Pipeline cleaning, with Swiss precision.
Our cleaning tool is propelled by the fluid itself. Without hoses, cables or power connections, it restores hundreds of kilometres of piping and pipelines in a single continuous operation.
01 — The technology
Where standard tools reach their limit, RCT begins.
Every pipeline has its own conditions. That is why every RHC cleaning tool is a prototype — designed, fabricated and tested in our Swiss workshop for one specific line.
02 — Industries
Four fluids.
One technology.
- 01 / 1952 Water Dirty water lines inspired A.J. Reinhart to develop the RCT. Water pipelines worldwide have been cleaned with it ever since. →
- 02 / 1996 Oil First offshore operation on the Beatrice platform for BP. Monthly maintenance cleaning on rigs in the North Sea and Gulf region. →
- 03 Gas Blank-metal cleaning, drying to a dew point of −65 °C, and conversion of lines from nitrogen to oxygen service. →
- 04 Industry Latex, aluminium, even cheese production lines — multifaceted applications that keep expanding the RCT's field every day. →
03 — Services
Every tool is a prototype.
Flow, kind of debris, ID variations, bends — every line dictates its own tool. One-time operations, yearly campaigns or monthly maintenance cleaning.
Dewaxing
Crude oil pipelines worldwide, from soft to very hard wax. Distances up to 450 km executed in one run, prior to the ILI inspection.

The first RCT was built to free a pipeline from built-up scale. Water, brine, barium chloride, industrial waste and slurry lines — even epoxy coatings.

A frictionless technique and an adapted scraping technique for stainless-steel coated pipes and flexible lines — without scratching the surface.
Read more → S/04 — ILI readyPre-Inspection
Cleaning prior to MFL or UT inspection: full pipeline coverage and high-quality data after just one ILI run. Cost-effective by design.

The principle of the Reinhart Cleaning Technology was established in 1952 by A.J. Reinhart, after dirty water lines in Switzerland inspired the very first hydromechanical cleaning. His sons Giacomo and Pietro carried the business forward from 1980; their sons Robert, Roland, Luca and Max expanded it with new ideas, knowledge and people.
From our premises in Courroux — workshop, test facilities and design office under one roof — 95% of all cleaning tool fabrication is done in-house, on 4- and 5-axis machining centres, three times more efficiently than conventional production.
